    Question Fileroller/ Archive manager Error

{Xubuntu 12.04} My archive manager (file-roller) is not extracting archives completely. For example i try to extract a 4.4 GB .7z archive it only extracts a 4.1 GB file. I tried reinstalling Xubuntu but the problem is still there. The problem seems to be in big files as i extracted a 3.2 MB .7z archive without a hitch.Does anyone know how to fix this?

It's look like your archive is corrupted IMO :/

Try to extract with different software, like Peazip.

Another thing is if your file is on a FAT32 formatted drive, it could be running into that arbitrary 4GB file size limit.
