Adding Facebook as an Online Account

Hey.

I took Facebook of my online account list the other day as it was acting up, so I removed it and tried to add it again. However, I've been trying for a week now and I still can't add the account.

Steps I take:

Open online account

Click to Add Facebook Account

Dialogue box appears, enter username and password

Prompts me to enter name for device (I set this up in Facebook)

Click add device

Blue circle spins for a few seconds and then nothing happens, left for 20mins and nothing. If I try to reload the page, I get a message, "Sorry, the request could not be processed"


Any ideas how I can fix it? I like having facebook chat included in Ubuntu!

Ok, I tried turning off the notifications in Facebook for sending messages when someone tries to access my account using a new device and I connected instantly. I'm not sure whether this is intended, or whether the Facebook API is messing up, but it works.

If anyone has the same problem, turn off the notifications!
