Nvidia Geforce 310M graphics drivers Minecraft glx missing
Hello
I am having some graphics card trouble.
I am fairly new to Ubuntu (and Linux in general) and am primarily a windows user.
I have an Asus K52Jc series laptop with an Nvidia Geforce 310m graphics card.
I need to install a later or better driver for the graphics card as I am having quite the plethora of issues running minecraft. Error reports suggest that I do not have "glx" (I'm not sure what exactly this is) and I do not know what drivers I currently have.
If any wayward enthusiast or someone with experience with this graphics card or one like it could provide some information regarding how to find what drivers I have, and how to fix them for my graphics card, I would be much appreciative.
Thank you.

I found the answer.
Evidently Nvidia Optimus doesn't play nicely with linux based operating systems. http://askubuntu.com/questions/13607...lution-problem
Bumblebee is recommended for nvidia cards.
