Downloading packages

Sorry, but this is going to sound a bit noobish, but where can I download the actual update packages from the internet? I found the archive of all the updates ever but i cannot actually find anywhere to actually download and store the packages.

Hi atkane.

Packages are usually downloaded on /var/cache/apt/archives when you update.

Nevertheless, you can search and download all packages at: http://packages.ubuntu.com/
