    It looks like the OP is only shuting the box down in order to take a snapshot, at least under "initial configuration."

    Um....no server is in "production" during initial setup...and that is exactly what this thread is talking about...initial setup.

    I assume you have a production server right now and want to do something in this thread to that server. You'll need to clarify what you are trying to do.

    Quick question... /boot is 200MB in this thread, but is 300MB on your forum. I suspect your forum may be a typo, as further down the initial configuration you talk about the free space as though only 200MB was taken?

    Thanks. I have not had the need for a Linux DNS server since my environment is primarily Windows with Active Directory (thus MS DNS) so everything uses the existing Windows DNS servers.
