Ubuntu on a mac

Might be getting a mac book pro 13inch retina,

Never owned a mac, so have no idea how hard it would be to install k/Ubuntu on it? Any ideas, am i in for a world of pain? Prefer to use Kubuntu.

Thread moved to Apple Users. You may want to have look at a few of the threads in here. Apple has some specific hardware. People who have done it can give you some input.

I have to say I do have Apple computer and can find my way around MacOS, but these are work machines and I've never installed Ubuntu on them.
