Exclamation Notification of network shows that my network is in a .local domain

    hello,

Today by connecting my ubuntu 10.10, I received a message informing me that:
** "Your current network has a .local domain. That is not recommended and is incompatible with the search service provider. The service is being disabled."
This message can be seen in the figure below:

My ADSL network is connected to a router and my pc is connected to the router. I already have this internet for some time and this message appeared only now. No changes were made by me on the router.

I would like a help to know what this means and if something bad - as I suspect it is - how can I be correcting that.

    thaks

Hi, I get that same message when I connect to my daughter network but not to mine, google shows it as a bug, I recommend that you install 12.04 because 10.10 is no longer supported and you can not get updates for security or fixes for it anymore.
    Thanks
