    PowerPC install woes

I can't get an install to stick on my G3 iBook, ran into issues on both the live and alternative cd, live taking me into a console, where startx failed due to no monitors. Alternate didn't get past preliminary hardware scans after being left on overnight, and even an upgrade from the already installed xubuntu 10.10 failed because the gpg key didn't check as a proper install disk. Saw this bug reported a lot but no real solutions to them, anything of interest I should try?

    sudo apt-get clue

You don't say what video card you have. There is plenty of info on how to solve these issues in the known issues pages and faq.

    Re: PowerPC install woes

Apparently, going into expert mode let me bypass the part of the installation that was sticking, locking up during network mode.
    Code:
    sudo apt-get clue
