Re: HOWTO: Send and Receive Hotmail through Evolution

Be warned, this thing can seriously mess things up on your Hotmail inbox. I followed the instructions on the first page. This thing really didn't work out for me because it deleted everything in my inbox. That was the last thing I wanted it to do. Now I cannot check my email on another computer. This is a bummer for me. Does anyone know how I can get the emails back into my inbox?

Re: HOWTO: Send and Receive Hotmail through Evolution

I'm wanting to try this, however, I think it's quite out dated, and probably risky. I could be wrong though. The new windows live mail application seems to work just fine to access hotmail, because that is what it's for. I am sure if someone took a deeper look into that application, there may be a better way for evolution to access hotmail.

This used to work just fine for me. However, now that I upgraded to Gutsy it no longer works. I went through the whole process in the first post again just to make sure, but no luck.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
