install splash screen
Hi all,
d/l a new splash screen from www.gnome-looks.org to the desktop tried installing by placing tar in System > Preferences > Sessions > Startup pragrams tab this is the wrong way and was wondering if anyone knows the correct way? Ta in advance |

Funny this should come up. I started looking into doing this just the other day. I came across this page. It's a pretty decent write up.
I set my system up to do this, but I didn't like the way that it showed up. It gave me a splah screen but only while the GRUB menu was up. Good luck with it. |
