    Mono - Android

    Hi
I was thinking about writing in c# for Android, hence looked at Mono. Is Mono not
supported anymore by Novell/Suse? It seems I cannot develop on Linux for Android in C#?
    What a pitty...
    Thanks

the firm that now maintains mono specifically focuses on android, so you can definitely use it:

Mono for Android is a commercial product you need to pay for.

If you already know C#, you should be able to tranfer to Java without too much trouble. I went from Java to C# and spent the first couple of days googling:
"What is the C# equivalent of X"

    After that everything is fine.

Going from C# to Java is going to be more painful as C# can do everything Java can do, but the reverse is not true. The limited ability to program in languages other than Java is what keeps me off that platform.
