Anything I need to add?
I saw the Bayanihan distro, created by the Philippine government, but alas it doesn't have a wikipedia article at present.

Not sure if these count as they're developed by local states, but here they are: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guadalinex and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GnuLinEx .
I think I read some months ago that the Russian and Indian governments had developed their respective distros, but I'm not sure, so don't take my word for it.
BTW, nice to see Canaima on the list
Already had Guadalinex and gnuLinEx, added India's BOSS (thanks!), and the Russian state-sponsored distro... well, I always read about the mysterious Russian one as "coming soon!" but it's remaining elusive to me at present. If someone's got a link or a name, please share!

Isn't it interesting that Linux is catching on in statist places? Cuba and North Korea... good grief. Cuba at least has a valid reason. The embargo makes it difficult for genuine copies of Windows to come in, and using Linux is simply a way of being self-sufficient. But North Korea? Using Linux for information control? I know this is a rabbit hole, but it's a bit troubling to me.
@BarfBag and others:
Please keep the political commentary to a minimum; I don't want my thread to get closed. I'd love to have a conversation about the political implications of what we're seeing, but this isn't the place to do it.
