Little globe icon on taskbar won't go away.

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04

I was on Facebook when I noticed a little globe/Earth icon on my taskbar.

When I clicked the icon it'd open my internet browser right to a random image on my friends wall.

Right clicking on it only gives two options: Launch. Properties.

Properties only lets me change the name and link that the icon takes me to.

I'm a total noob. I tried searching for some answers and I couldn't find any.

What is this and how do I make it go away?



*edit* I SOLVED IT. Thanks anyway.

I literally just installed Ubuntu to this computer. The only things I added were gnome-panel, chromium, and skype.
