Would love to buy this setup and run ubuntu 12.04 on it:

Bought one and tried 12.04.1 64bit desktop as well as 64bit server.

It doesn't work.

desktop: red pixels corrupt setup process and ultimately the setup dies (freezes) towards the last screen.

server: fast red pixels also corrupt the console, install works till the end, but no way I'm trusting that.

I also added an additional video card (this machine comes with the on-board video only). I get further along with no video corruption at all. However, I still get random hard freezes.

But for the few minutes it works, it's amazingly fast (/ & swap on a 128GB SSD and /home on the factory HD).

I'm eagerly waiting for a fix.
