Wine stoped working after updates

Im using wine 1.4 on kubuntu 12.04, dont know what happened, but after some system updates wine stopped working enirely. I iether get "Internal error" followed by "There is no windows program configured to open this type of file" when i try to run windows programs. Or when it Comes to WoW, after double clicking on WoW.exe, wine icon jumps a bit near the cursor and nothing happens.

I tried reinstalling wine and everything that with it but nothing changes.

Same problem here, I'm still on 1.4. Tried removing and reinstalling with no luck

Fixed: Opened Synaptics to fin that the auto update has not installed/upgraded all the necessary components. Marked the necessary ones (denoted by an exclamation mark) and all is working fine now!
