    Using HDMI

So I have no problems using the HDMI when hooked up to my tv, What I was wondering is there a way when playing videos on my tv to have my laptop screen turn off without turning the TV screen off. I know it is weird but I guess I just do not like having my laptop screen idle on when I am watching movies on the TV.

You could also do it with an xrandr command-

    Code:
    xrandr --output LVDS1 --off
But make sure the TV is set to primary first.
