Can I in stall Compiz to Pinguy 12.04?

I installed Pinguy OS 12.04 and it does not have Compiz installed with it. Allthough it does have an updated kernal, can it be used with this version of Pinguy? I have be using Compiz on my previous of Pinguy and it works great an I would like to use it on version 12.04 if I can.
