hp folio ubuntu no display

I just baught a HP folio and was hoping to install ubuntu on it.

I tried the msi provided (Wubi).
And when I boot on ubuntu I see the dots loading and the logo but then it goes black and no more display, I can hear sounds though.

Then I tried booting from a USB stick following the instructions here.

But still no luck... I can hear the drums but no display whatsoever.

I tried switching to command line too and it doesn't do anything.

Try with ubuntu USB Creator. Search it in unity bar or gnome shell box search.
