First Cup of Ubuntu
I can get the patcher to work and everything I just cant get the game to start I play it all the time on my desktop if someone could please help me get it running that would be amazing I have directx 9c and visual C++ and i think I have the dlls I need so if someone could install it and find out whats wrong that would be amazing.
Its called spirit tales its a little over a gig to download once again thank you
It doesn't use hackshield this is for ubuntu 11.10 and wine 4. something I think lol

It might not use HackShield, but it does use some kind of anti-cheat/hack software (according to the game devs), most of which work on the same principles and will never work with Wine. You'd probably be better off trying to run the game in a virtual machine like VMWare or VirtualBox.

You need a windows disk in order to install windows on them dont you?
