    What Happened To Treeview?

I like Tree view, but it has mysteriously disappeared, and I've not been able to find a command or menu item that allows me to bring it back. I'm using Ubuntu 10.04. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

    Re: What Happened To Treeview?

Thanks, but I am not able to view my side pane either. For example, when I click on Places>Documents, all my folders are pushed to the far left of the screen, and there is nothing listed in any of the menu items that will allow me to enable either tree view or even my side pane. Any other thoughts? They are appreciated. Just a note, I am using Ubuntu 10.04. Thanks again...

F9 toggles the Side Pane in Nautilus.

If that doesn't make it visible then try dragging the left-hand border to the right with your mouse - it may be just that the pane has shrunk too much to see it

    Re: What Happened To Treeview?

Thank you. I appreciate your response. I did try your suggestions to no avail. I did solve the problem though. Click System>Preferences>File Management>Behaviour Tab> Then uncheck "Open Each Folder In Own Window." For the life of me, I don't know how it got checked in the first place, but be that as it may.
Again thanks for your assistance and the assistance of Daveth.

gpeck157: Thank you for the feedback and I am pleased you got it working. Just for info, the same dialog box is also available within the Nautilus menu, Edit, Preferences, Behaviour etc.
