Playing videos in mplayer using libcaca

So I've learned that you can play videos in ASCII using mplayer and libcaca (cool!). But when I enter this command in tty1 (or 2-6)
    Code:
    mplayer -vo caca anyvideo
then the video would play, however barely anything is displayed (I can only see a few colorful dots)
So anyway to make the video display fully?

Is there an error message in the terminal output? Post the full output here....
You think that's air you're breathing now?

There is nothing wrong with the output AFAIK. The video plays perfectly on GUI, but in tty1-6, the video still plays without any errors, but there is barely anything shown on the screen.
