ubuntu complettely freezes by java

how is this possible ubuntu completely frezzes by java program
this java program "wurm" isn't even builded in system so it has only user privileges only
thed did an update of an program and once in a while it just freezes now

how is this possible and why is this possible?

any work arounds to fix this that only java program would freeze and not the whole system?

What Java do you have installed? What version of Ubuntu? Updating might be appropriate.

Does Wurm have forums?

what I'd like to see is to crash java not system it's even made that this program has guest rights only
