64-bit 12.04 LTS doesn't connect to wireless on Thinkpad T500

I recently upgraded my Thinkpad from 10.04 LTS to 12.04 LTS. The wireless worked immediately upon install, but as soon as I rebooted just once it no longer connects to any wireless network. As per some of the other threads on here, the code
    Code:
    sudo lsh -C network
    returns
    Code:
    *-network
    description: Ethernet interface
    product: 82567LM Gigabit Network Connection
    vendor: Intel Corporation
    physical id: 19
    bus info: pci@0000:00:19.0
    logical name: eth0

    serial: 00:22:68:1c:17:32

    resources: irq:45 memory:fc000000-fc01ffff memory:fc025000-fc025fff ioport:1840(size=32)

Anything the experts here could tell me would be great.

Re: 64-bit 12.04 LTS doesn't connect to wireless on Thinkpad T500

Okay, it seems to be working now. I tried the solution of disabling the wireless N-mode in post #2 of http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1980142 . I'm changing this thread to SOLVED.
