    ubuntu installation

I have xp and windows 7 installed in my pc. I installed windows 7 using windows7 installation files by usb. I know that I will lose my 7 if I lose my xp, as startup files are included in earlier os.

Now I would like to know that, will I lose my windows7 if I installed ubuntu. I know I wont lose my xp.

    Re: ubuntu installation

If you don't remove the Windows partition during the installation, then you wont lose your Windows when you install Ubuntu. The simplest way is probably just to use the "install beside" options offered by the Ubuntu installer. That should take care of it for you.
