    odd question about file names

I know this is totally unrelated to Linux, but I can't find an answer to this online and I thought maybe somebody would know:

On my old DOS machine (MS-DOS 6.22 I think), while writing something in Pascal or QBasic, I did something that accidentally created a filename with a space in it. something like "dust mac.dat". DOS won't let me edit or delete it or anything, because it is an illegal file name. Does anyone know how to fix this short of formatting the drive?

Use quotes to enclose the whole name.
