    How To Install Remastersys Backup ISO

    Hi all,

    I've a backup iso made by Remastersys. It runs fine as a live CD, but there is no option for installing it on my hard disk. How could I install it?

    Thanks very much.

    There are three possibilities.;

    One, you may have an icon on your screen which will allow you to start the installation;

    Two, there is an entry in your main menu "Install release";

    Three, from the boot menu choose "Install- start the installer directly";

    All of these will work, but sometimes the icon is not there.

    There is always a way, but it might not be the best way, or your way!

    I had that happen once , I found out you need "ubiquity" installed ...... You might be able to install it while running in "live" mode temporarily, so you can install the .iso

    If that works and you install the iso , be sure to install Ubiquity on the install before making another backup with remastersys.
