Cannot play burned mp3 cd in car

    Hi Everyone,

I have been trying to create an mp3 cd to play in my car. I am selecting "data mp3" in Brasero, GnomeBaker, and k3B. All I can get is a read that starts the timer at zero, then quickly starts counting up at 3 or 4 times the rate, but with no sound.
There are 32 tracks, 45 minutes long each. My car has the mp3 label on the front of the stereo, and no inputs.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    What car?

My 2006 Honda Civic plays MP3s (and WMAs) just beautifully. I can put almost 12 hours of music on a CD.

Perhaps your car's user manual will provide more information.

The make and model of the vehicle is of no consequence.

What may possibly matter is the installed electronics.

Does the content play on your computer?
