First of all, great howto Compwiz18, I feel like I am really close to getting this to work. I ran the script without any trouble and I now have the bcmwl5 driver and ndiswrapper installed for my BCM4318, but I still cannot connect to a wireless network. The output of iwconfig is:Also, I can see my home wireless network usingCode:lo no wireless extensions. eth0 no wireless extensions. eth1 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:off/any Mode:Managed Frequency:2.462 GHz Access Point: Not-Associated Bit Rate:54 Mb/s Tx-Power:25 dBm RTS thr:2347 B Fragment thr:2346 B Encryption key:off Power Management:off Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0 Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0 sit0 no wireless extensions. However, when I go to configure my wireless connection at System > Administration > Networking there aren't any networks to chose from in the drop down menu. There aren't any choices for wireless networks using the network monitor applet either. So I know my card can detect networks around me, but I have no way of connecting to them. Any ideas?Code:sudo iwlist eth1 scan
