    I have a few thoughts

one is this it is possible you have bad spot on your hard drive if you have dual boot boot window and do a chkdsk I think you can do one from ubuntu how ever im not sure just how also if the partition shows up in windows do a defrag too or there is a program to you can get for ubuntu for defrag ...

just seems odd you have to attempt to boot several time for it to work this to me looks like a hard drive issue chkdsk could be a simple repair

    Possibly a cheap power supply.
Maybe it's one of those where they put fake ratings.
(And a Chinese company I never heard of)
    Acer Aspire M5630: 1 GB Kingston PC6400 DDR2 SDRAM dual channel (2x512 MB), Core 2 Duo E2180 (2.0 Ghz), Intel i915

i guess anything is possible , though the poster don't give much info or detail I will bet its not a power supply better bet is on a a bad spot on the Hard drive its a good bet the same computer has lockup issues trying to run scans when running window like stalls or locks up running virus scans and malware scans before they can complete a lot of the time ..

like i say they are not giving a lot of detail if its a lap top or desk top it is also possible if its a desk top they have a wireless phone or a big speaker very close to the case on the side nearest the HD that could cause read and write errors or even worse .

    Hi!

My problem was resolved! Thanks for your support jadtech. I realize the sha256 checksum (Isupposed that the iso file was a problem) and its ok , so I upgraded the packagged and the problem dissapear. Unfortunately i don't know the cause of the problem.

By the way, I have a desktop and my hdd SATA2.

    Regards!
