Hi,
I was recently walking down the road, when i saw a pile of junk thrown on the nature strip.
i rummage through it looking for anything worthwhile and came across an apple keyboard, monitor and a huge apple box with a Mac Pro on the side. Intrigued i opened the box and found wrapped in Styrofoam a almost new Mac Pro!
when i returned home i plugged the Mac into the power and into the monitor, pressed the power and heard the delighting mac boot up sound. i was then greeted with a white screen and then a message saying "no bootable disk, insert boot disk and press any key". after extensive youtube watching i found the solution(not being a mac user myself). i then fixed this problem then come face to face with a ubuntu loading screen and a ubuntu login screen.
my question is:
if i don't have access to the computer due to a password can i reinstall ubuntu onto it? if so how do i do it? do i need a boot disk to reinstall an OS?
if anyone can help thanks alot.
