    How did you install Emerald in 12.04?

    Make sure you are installing version 0.9.5.
    I did that:
    Code:
    tanja@tanja:~/Downloads/emerald-0.9.5$ ./autogen.sh && make clean && make distclean && ./configure --prefix=/usr && make && gksu make install

    engines/Makefile.am:37: its definition is in aclocal's search path.

    autoreconf2.50: automake failed with exit status: 1
    Edit:
    I installed intltool
    and I got this:
    No package 'libwnck-1.0' found

    Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
    installed software in a non-standard prefix.

    Alternatively, you may set the environment variables EMERALD_CFLAGS
    and EMERALD_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
    See the pkg-config man page for more details.
    Instaled libwnck-dev
