    Missing BOINC menu

Just updated to Precise Pangolin and I'm having difficulty getting BOINC to display the taskbar menus. This was working fine with Oneiric Ocelot. The versions of boinc-client and boinc-manager are 7.024+dsfg-1 according to Synaptic.
I've tried re-installing (over the top) via Synaptic and also completely removing via Synaptic, rebooting and then installing via terminal with the same result occurring each time.
A screenshot is included below showing the missing menus.

    Re: Missing BOINC menu

    Thanks for the workaround.
Folowing the links for the bug, I don't have appmenu-gtk installed, so will need to wait for the solution.

    Wink Re: Missing BOINC menu

I had BOINC7.0.25 installed in my home dir. This started erroring tasks immediately after upgrading to 12.04 - well after I manually installed something that it said was missing. I then tried installing via the repository which gave me 7.0.24. Running this didn't work either but it must have put something in that sorted things out because the version installed in my home dir then started working. Only problem is the show graphics doesn't work. I suspect that if I run from a terminal and watch what happens when I click on the graphics button it will tell me what is missing and I will be able to resolve this.
