I was all excited when I read through Daz's guide - I've had FreeNX up and running on my Mandrake box for a while, and was looking forward to running it on Ubuntu 5.04.
One small problem though - my Ubuntu install is on an AMD64 box, and I saw earlier in the thread that there aren't packages for AMD64. I figured that was a month or so ago, perhaps they're in there now?
Code:
$ apt-cache search freenx
freenx - The FreeNX application/thin-client server based on NX technology
nxserver - The FreeNX application/thin-client server based on NX technology
Cool !
Code:
$apt-get install freenx
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
freenx: Depends: nxagent (>= 1.4.0-m2-1) but it is not installable
Depends: nxproxy (>= 1.4.0-m2-1) but it is not installable
D'oh! apt-cache search doesn't turn up any results for nxagent, nxproxy, nxssh, etc. There is a package called nxsetup-kanotix, but I'm not sure if that would be useful.
Any suggestions?
