Does the same problem occur while installing Xubuntu? Because i tried out the live version and i love it, so i would like to install that one...

ok, guys who are experiencing the same problem as i have, TRY CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET.
Worked for me.

Sort of "workaround" : disconnecting the Ethernet cable causes that error to not appear anymore.
I have a possible solution for this problem(the ones that has worked for me for many times). Instead of going to "Install Ubuntu", go to "Try Ubuntu". From there, enable your internet connection(it is a must) and then double click the icon of "install" that would appear on your desktop.
Hope this helps. Do report if you still face some problem.
Or even easier - just don't plug in the ethernet cable and it will work if you go for a direct install. But i think it's better to connect to the net in live mode, yes!
