Screensaver doesn't cover the UNITY interface?

Hey guys.. weird thing happened just yesterday and is still ongoing. When the screen fades out to black, the UNITY bar on the left, along w/ the main bar on the top of the screen remain. I don't know what to make of this, maybe some sort of bug. But according to my records, I haven't really installed any updates that should be effecting it. Just to see if maybe gnome-screensaver was the problem, I uninstalled it and put on xscreensaver. However, it does the same thing. Has anybody else seen this, or know what could be the culprit?

Uggh, nevermind. It seems a reboot has fixed the problem. A reboot.
