    well i have successfully downloaded and installed ubuntu 11.10 on my computer but am unable to get the druivers for my new wireless device Net gear n300 wna3100 device. i have the drivers in ubuntu for windows and was told ndiswrapper would fix my problem but i cant get it to install bc i am unable to connect to the internet and just get it offline so im hoping i can get it working today b4 i have to go to school

    so yea no matter what i do with ndiswrapper no matter what i download it always takes me to the resource center which i cant access due to the face that the ethernet port on the back of my tower is inoperable.......is there anyway to get a 100% save on usb cut and paste version of ndiswrapper in order to get the drivers for my wireless card p and running so that i may finally use ubuntu effectively lol any help is much appreciated

    Assuming you use wireless, you can always buy/use a wireless/WLAN stick which will recognize connections which you can (through the stick) connect to...
    At the moment that's really the only option that I see... I'll get back to you if I find more info...

    I would just like to inform every1 that has been there to help me that i am now successfully online on my desktop with ubuntu finally got the drivers installed and up and running. HOORAY
