Can't edit the User CP

I'm getting this dialog that I don't have permission to access this page

This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account has less than 50 posts.
2. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
3. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I'm guessing (3) but... why?

The forum updates once every hour, so you should be able to access it quite soon.

It is an automated process.

If you have been away and recently returned then you need to wait for the script to run to update your usergroup.

A policy was put into place to deal with spammers - http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php...62&postcount=1
