    Angry Installing GNOME icon battery as a indicator in unity.

    Hi, I have reading this OMG!Ubuntu post - http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2011/02/battery-applet-status-ubuntu/. I done what was said in the post. Here what the post suggested:

    • sudo add-apt-repository ppa:iaz/battery-status && sudo apt-get update
    • sudo apt-get install battery-status

    But I cannot install the package 'battery-status' as it is not located.
    Here I am attaching the screen shot of the terminal. So please provide any other alternative way to install this package. I am using Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit with Unity interface.

    a bit of googleing told me that this ppa only works for ubuntu 11.04 and older, so as of now it will not work on your system.

    What!? This means it is not available for ubuntu 11.10? I hope someone would make it available for 11.10 or possibly for ubuntu 12.04!
