    that's right it was me mistake. i am newbie .i am a new ubuntu user and i just bought a new labtop and i am very upset because of this problem.

    Please tell us more. What does your wireless do or not do? When you click the Network Manager icon, do you see networks? Can you click on yours and try to connect? Please open a terminal and run and post:

    i wonder what does this phy0 mean? it is always blocked.

    i have read about acer_wmi module and i see it, it is loaded but it shuoldnt be.

    another problem is that in my network settings i cant turn off the airplane mode.

    i have found on the internet that someone had to install windows to activate the wifi card?! another say that the driver iwlwifi should be downgraded?

    *i am now on mint, but it's the same problem i had on ubuntu. please help me!

    my wifi seems works fine. but the speed is very slow. when i connect to ethernet the speed is normal.

    sudo rfkill unblock all
    rfkill list all
    Any improvement? If so,we'll tweak one file to make it permanent.

    Basic display modes:
