Moving Threads

Is it possible for a user to move a thread to another category? Reasoning behind my question is that I created a thread under 'Installations & Upgrades' but have not received any responses. As a newbie to Ubuntu, perhaps I created my question/issue in the wrong one and it should be under 'Absolute Beginner Talk' instead....

If you feel your thread is in the wrong section you can report it and a member of staff can move it. If it is in the right section but not getting replies then you can bump your thread to the top of the page once every 24 hours.

Also, the more relevant info you give the more likely someone can assist.

Oh sorry. By simply making a new post in the thread it will get "bumped" up to the top of the sub-forum.

You could simply write "Bump" in it so that it is obvious why you posted

- But as noted, please don't do this more than once every 24 hours.
