If you run through a console you might see that a crash report is generated and where, then it'll be sent to google the next time you start google earth. It's still beta and is the first linux release so expect some crashes.Originally Posted by Praxidike

Same here; and an opengl app I wrote myself no longer works either -- the kernel says
[drm:r128_cce_depth] *ERROR* r128_cce_depth called without lock held
[drm:r128_cce_idle] *ERROR* r128_cce_idle called without lock held
so it looks like one of opengl, X, or the kernel broke the r128 driver recently...
