Install Google Earth
The linux version of google earth has just been released so heres how to get it!
1. Open up a terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) 2. Type in the following: Code:
wget http://dl.google.com/earth/GE4/GoogleEarthLinux.bin sh GoogleEarthLinux.bin |

Wow, thanks.
I've been trying to get it working, new to Linux, was trying for ages with Wine, running the Windows version with no luck, this is much easier to install!! Although it's a little slow, maybe that's my drivers... |

To uninstall Google Earth go to your home directory or wherever you installed Google Earth at. There should be a folder there called google-earth. Click on that folder and in it you should find a uninstall script.

I can get Google Earth to start, but it always quits in the middle of setup, with this error message in the Terminal:

Think I've got my drivers sorted out - it now runs smoothly (I said it ran slow in my post earlier)... but it crashes randomly, with no warnings. Any idea what the problem there is? Not a big deal, no problem to restart, just wondering what could cause it...
