    No it's not, the copyright info hasn't been updated since 2010. Don't risk it, use ubuntu.com.

    Whois lookup suggests it's owned by Canonical. I would imagine they bought the domains for common misspellings of "ubuntu".

    Why wouldn't they just forward it to the official Ubuntu site? Whois information is rarely verified, someone could've put Canonical's whois information in when they bought it.
