    Re: Problem!

Software is simple to install in Ubuntu, just use Software Centre or synaptic package manager.
I think you're struggling with simple things, because you've jumped in head first without reading up on how Ubuntu works.
Try googling first, and find out more about the operating system, or check here:

The list is endless, and could save you asking unnecessary questions.

    What the?

Now, I faced 2 problems again, one of them is the same problem as before.

    1. Shuts down with no reason.
    2. Apparently, this time it shut down, it made my Windows 7 disk check.

I didn't know installing Ubuntu can cause so many problems.

    EDIT: I'll try installing 12.04

Keep in mind that 12.04 is still in beta, and not recommended for production use.

    Re: Problem!

This is not right, all of my problems are fixed.
Now I need to know why I'm constantly getting shut down automatically without a warning.

There is something on the startup:

    ERROR: *something* wubildr.

It isn't exactly like that but that might give you a clue if it is a known issue.
    I would appreciate some help.

    Re: Problem!

Is this a custom built machine, meaning did you build it yourself, or is it a machine from dell, hp, etc.?

What you describe sounds like the system may be overheating to the point where the system shuts down to avoid causing damage.

Have you tried reviewing your system logs? they can be accessed graphically by searching for system log in the unity launcher or by navigating to the administrator program category, through the unity launcher, and finding the system log program there.

Also the more accurate you are with your bug/issue description and system information here the better the other members will be able to help you out.

    Re: Problem!

I think running Ubuntu 2D fixed the problem.
Nevertheless, I have reached the highscore: 10 minutes!

I think I can continue my journey without eventually falling at a black hole (system shut down).

Bear in mind too, that Wubi installations can be problematic, and are not as stable as a regular hard drive installation.
You might want to consider dual booting with windows, it may resolve your shutdown problem.

    Re: Problem!

If I might make a comment or two needicla --

The first thing is that you do not need to be a sys admin to use Linux. You have to disabuse yourself of the expectation that Linux is Windows.

The second thing is tht software vendors are responsible for how easy (or not) their software is to install. Adobe has a nice installer for Windows that installs Flash and then keeps track of updates. They do not have that for Linux. Worse yet, they are about to discontinue Flash for Linux. That does not mean there is something wrong with Linux itself. But we are often left outside in the cold in a Windows oriented world, and we must often make do. That being the case, there is nothing at all wrong with choosing not to use Linux. Use what works for you.

Finally, you must understand that even though you and many others come here with problems, there are millions of users who don't come here at all because things work and they don't need to. That does not diminish your problem. It is important to all of us to help you sort it out.

Wubi is the sort of thing that has its own set of issues. It could be that some smart user in Islamabad will happen by your post after he gets off work and will be able to give you just the right answer. Or not. It may take a few tries for others to make some educated guesses to sort it out with you.

    For the shutdowns:

A desktop: Check the heatsink and fan.

    A laptop:

    1: Check the battery.

2: Check the heatsink and fan.
