How to: Customize Ubuntu and burn it to .iso

    Newbie sort of thing

    I ran into this http://www.howtogeek.com/109736/how-...ive-cd-or-usb/

I'm very sorry forum members, but due to technical problems, I just cannot try it out. But anyway, is there a way, to create (easy and a hard way) your own, customized ubuntu .iso? (I'm sure that is)

What I mean is: after I boot my Ubuntu Live Cd, I will install ubuntu-restricted-extras, I will also add some plugins to firefox, but then, I want to uninstall programs like Libre Math or games I will never play. Then I want to burn it and make LiveCD out of my version of Ubuntu. And here comes the question: how to?

I tried some web searched about this, but the conditions are not, well, favorable at the moment...

I have never tried this app from above, but as I am always eager to learn, what's the hard way to do this?

I recently read this on How-To Geek as well. Here read these:
    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Li...ionFromScratch
    and
    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCDCustomization.
I have to warn you though, they are much harder to do than the UCK.

This is super cool! Thank you, I'll give it a try, as soon as I can.

Do you have any experience in this area? Did you give a try to UCK?

    All best!

I have actually, it's great since I usually like to get the restricted codecs so I don't have to reinstall them whenever I install another computer. Also the post on top of this one is also a good way to go at it. I have never tried remastersys but from what I remember, it will create a live cd of current state your system is at(its kinda like a backup).
