    Lightbulb Gnuplot on ubuntu 64

    Greetings guys.

I have been working on Ubuntu 64 bits a little time and I started to use more often gnuplot to make my graphs due to octave and MPB,but using an virtual workstation with ubuntu 32 on same computer in order to use MPB. Suddendly I needed to work with other programs on 64 and decided to use the newest gnuplot version on 64 enviroment, the problem is that once I installed gnuplot not all the terminals have been installed and I can't use all the options that i had on 32, It's there a difference on the enviroments? or is there a problem with the installation on 64?

I used the classical way to install it

    $./configure
    $make
    $sudo make install

    any suggestions? thanks

    Synaptic won't install a newest-enough version?
