    Question RTMP streaming with webcamstudio?

    Hi!

after trying to get the livestream working via:

    livestream.com/studio
    livestream.com/webcaster
    and procaster in WINE......

and all failed horribly (I wont go in to that now), I got the tip to try webcamstudio.... It looks great, it works, but it is mostly undocumented.

I want to know how to connect to my livestream.com account. I have to feed it parameters in cli, but no clue howto. Livestream.com expects something like:

    rtmp://publish.livestream.com/mogulus/channelname/username=yourusername
    /password=yourpassword/isAutoLive=true

    Tried that, no effect.

There is also talk of an XML file, but no further clues as how to fill that....

    ANYONE have a clue?

    TIA!

    Re: RTMP streaming with webcamstudio?

I am trying to figure out the same thing. I actually have procaster working in wine but there is alot of interface glitches and procaster has always been slow as it is so wine definitively doesn't help with that. Been searching for an alternative but I can't seem to find anything. So for now I am just stuck with recording YouTube Lets Play videos until I can find streaming software.
