    using socks

    i use a socks server to connect to internet to bypass ISP blocking some websites
    no matter i set it in network settings, or firefox, when i search "my ip" in google, it is server's ip but when i try to access youtube , it's blocked (as if it uses proxy server but not encrypted connection)

    what am i doing wrong here?
    (by the way if i use proxifier in windows, it takes the traffic from apps and sends it through tunnel, and it works!!!, but it's windows...)
