    11.10 M5A97 Slow Internet Speed

I think this may be a driver problem, but when I'm running Windows on my M5A97-Based Desktop, I get 25 MBPS down and 3 MBPS Up, while on Ubuntu I get 3 MBPS down and 2 MBPS up. Any solutions?

Please open a terminal, and run and post the outputs of:
    Code:
    uname -mr
lspci -nnk | grep -iA2 net
    lsmod
    ifconfig -a
If it is a wireless interface, then also:
    Code:
    iwconfig
While posting, click on # at the top of the box (in which you create new posts) to auto-create [ code]..[ /code] tags. Then copy-paste the output codes in-between those tags.

    An age-old problem.
See if this post can help: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=11733546

    PS:
Since you can connect to internet, just pay attention to the commands part only. It should go fine for you.
