    automatic slideshow

We have a TV in the hallway at my school that we are using to display announcements. Recently we hooked it up to an ubuntu machine from a mac G4. We are looking for a program similar to xscreensaver's GLslideshow, but that will allow us to swap the images out without interrupting the slideshow (they are stored in a shared folder). Does anybody know of a program that will do this?

I could write one in under two hours. If you don't find one drop me a PM and I'll see if I can squeeze it in this week.

Xscreensaver is working now, I just did not have enough new images placed in to notice it.
